Driver Terms & Conditions

1. Driver Status

Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of Gamride. You maintain full control over when and where you provide services, which rides you accept, and how you operate your business.

2. Driver Requirements

To drive with Gamride, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Hold a valid driver's license for minimum 3 years
  • Pass a background check
  • Maintain valid vehicle insurance
  • Keep your vehicle in good condition
  • Maintain a minimum rating (details in driver portal)

3. Service Fees

Gamride charges a service fee on each completed ride. The fee structure is detailed in your driver portal. We process payments and remit earnings according to our payment schedule.

4. Accepting Rides

You have full discretion to accept, reject, or counter-offer any ride request. However, maintaining a reasonable acceptance rate helps improve your visibility to riders. Once you accept a ride, you're expected to fulfill the commitment.

5. Professional Conduct

Drivers are expected to:

  • Provide professional, courteous service
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety
  • Follow traffic laws and regulations
  • Respect rider privacy and safety
  • Not discriminate against riders
  • Not operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs

6. Insurance and Liability

You must maintain appropriate vehicle insurance. You are responsible for any damages, accidents, or incidents that occur during rides. Gamride provides supplemental insurance but this does not replace your own coverage requirements.

7. Rating System

Riders can rate you after each trip. Maintaining a high rating is important for receiving ride requests. Drivers with consistently low ratings may be deactivated from the platform.

8. Payment Terms

Gamride facilitates payment collection and remits earnings according to the schedule in your driver portal. You're responsible for any applicable taxes on your earnings.

9. Account Deactivation

We may deactivate driver accounts for:

  • Violation of these terms
  • Safety concerns
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Consistently low ratings
  • Failure to maintain required documentation

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration as specified in the general Terms of Service. You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of class actions.
